Riding and The Area

Although we are situated close to Sheffield  we have miles of beautiful off road riding with absolutely no road work necessary, it is ideal for just hacking out or more vigorous fitness training.   We are situated conveniently for links to major roads and the motorway which makes Hunter House Equestrian an ideal base if you are travelling to shows and events.

The local shows are Penistone Agricultural Show,  Emley Agricultural Show,  Ecclesfield Show and Sheffield Shows.  There are smaller riding club shows and pony club events locally. 

Chatsworth Horse Trials are within easy reach and local Hunter trials, dressage and show jumping venues are close by.
The livery yard also offers a conveinient  access onto  the Pennine trial .
The local hunts are the Rockwood Harriers, The Barlow Hunt, The High Peak and the Readyfield Bloodhounds.
